Salmon River 2023

Couples Trip 08.01.2023

Ten couples rafted four days through one of the largest intact wilderness ecosystems in the lower 48, down Idaho's Middle Fork of the Salmon River. Between whitewater rapids, natural hot springs, and evenings under open sky, the river gave couples something most rarely get: unhurried time together with nothing competing for their attention. Guided by the Flourishing Couples workbook, the group explored whether the life they've built together actually reflects what they value most and who they want to be as a couple.

Unlike any other trip I've been on! Our group of amazing couples dug into core themes for our lives, built on our relationships, and experienced some of the most pristine wilderness in the US.

This trip took me out of my comfort zone and reminded me of who I am individually and what matters most to my husband and I as a couple. The trip experience was incredible, but it was the intentional guided material and discussion prompts, new friendships forged, and ultimately the accountability to make lasting changes in ourselves and within our community that will forever change me.

Kimi D.

The combination of meaningful new relationships and connection alongside the backdrop of a wilderness I had never experienced made this truly a unique and impacting trip.
